Samsung is a South Korean company headquartered in Suwon. Samsung Electronics dates to 1969, when Samsung Electric Industries was set up in Suwon. It belongs to the Samsung Group. Its home appliance business includes refrigerators, washing machines and dishwashers, alongside the phones and TVs most people know it for.

Find your model and serial number
Samsung’s Canadian support page says the label depends on the appliance. Fridges have one inside on the left and one outside at the bottom left. Front load washers and dryers carry a sticker on the frame near the door seal, top load washers on the back. Ranges have it on the oven door frame, dishwashers on the inner rim, microwaves usually on the back.

How service works
We can look at your Samsung appliance in your home, or in our shop for smaller items. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
