About Miele
Miele was founded in 1899 in Herzebrock, Germany, by engineer Carl Miele and businessman Reinhard Zinkann, and the company first made cream separators. Miele’s own history page says the Miele and Zinkann families have shaped it for more than 100 years. Its range covers cooking, dishwashing, refrigeration and freezing, washing machines, tumble dryers and vacuum cleaners.

Find your model and serial number
Miele calls the sticker a data tag, and it lists the product type, a material number and the serial number. Miele’s tag finder page describes a spot in words for cooktops only, the underside of the unit, and shows diagrams for ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers and fridges. A second tag may come in the accessories kit, so check the manual for it.

How service works
We can look at your Miele appliance in your home, or in our shop for smaller items. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
