About Viking
Viking Range, LLC is a luxury kitchen appliance maker headquartered in Greenwood, Mississippi, and Fred Carl Jr. is credited with starting it. The company says it pioneered the first commercial style range for home use, and it describes itself as part of the Composition Brands luxury portfolio. Its website lists cooking, refrigeration, ventilation, dishwashers and outdoor products.

Find your model and serial number
Viking’s recall safety page describes the label spots in several notices. On ranges, the rating plate is under the left front grate support and burner bowl, on the oven face frame below the control panel, or at the bottom of the control panel above the door. Dishwashers carry an identification plate on the left side of the door opening. Fridges and freezers usually have the label on the inside ceiling. Check ranges only once they are cool.

How service works
We can look at your Viking appliance in your home, or in our shop for smaller items. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
