Dacor builds ranges, wall ovens and cooktops for the kitchen. When one stops heating or lighting, Southland can diagnose it in Calgary. We’re independent, and repairs come with our 90-day warranty.

About Dacor
Dacor was founded in 1965 in Pasadena, California, by Stanley M. Joseph. Samsung bought the company in 2016, and it is now part of Samsung Electronics America. Dacor sells wall ovens, ranges, cooktops, dishwashers, warming drawers, microwaves, ventilation hoods and refrigerators.

Find your model and serial number
Dacor’s owner page lists the serial tag spot by product and collection. Professional ovens and ranges have it behind the intake vents on the grill below the knobs. Professional cooktops have it on the underside. Dishwashers have it on the right side frame, or across the top of the door on Contemporary and Transitional models. Hoods have it behind the filters, and microwaves across the front frame.

How service works
We can look at your Dacor appliance in your home, or in our shop for smaller items. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
