About Maytag
Maytag started in 1893 in Newton, Iowa, as a farm implement maker, and was later renamed the Maytag Washing Machine Company. Frederick Maytag was a co-founder. Whirlpool Corporation completed its purchase of Maytag on April 1, 2006. Its advertising character, the lonely repairman, is still well known, and its lineup includes washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators and ranges.

Dryers: upper left at the back, inside the door or back frame. Dishwashers: upper left of the frame. Ranges: inside the burner box. Fridges: top left of the food compartment.

How service works
We can look at your Maytag appliance in your home, or in our shop for smaller items. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
