About LG
LG Electronics is a South Korean company based in Seoul. It started in 1958 as GoldStar and took the LG Electronics name in the mid 1990s. LG Corporation, which holds about a third of it, is its parent. Find your model and serial number
LG’s support page lists a silver label behind the door on front load washers and dryers. Top load washers vary, often the rear panel near the top or under the lid. Dishwashers: right side of the door. Fridges: inside, right side of the liner on most models, left on newer ones. Ranges vary, often the door side, drawer or oven frame.

How service works
We can look at your LG appliance in your home, or in our shop for smaller items. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
