About Jenn-Air
Jenn-Air began in 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana, as Jenn-Air Products Company, started by Louis J. Jenn. Maytag acquired the brand in 1982, and Whirlpool Corporation bought Maytag in 2006. Today the Canadian JennAir site shows a kitchen lineup of refrigerators, ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, microwaves, dishwashers and range hoods.

Find your model and serial number
JennAir’s Canadian site has a page that lists the label spot for each product. Column and French door fridges carry it at the upper right of the fridge compartment. Slide-in ranges have it behind the storage drawer on the right of the oven frame, and wall ovens under the control panel on the right of the vent. Dishwashers vary by style, and induction cooktops have it underneath the base at the right front.

How service works
We can look at your Jenn-Air appliance in your home, or in our shop for smaller items. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
