Asko Appliance Repair in Calgary
In North America Asko sells dishwashers and laundry machines, and that is what we look at. A dishwasher that won’t drain or a washer that won’t spin can be diagnosed by Southland in Calgary. We’re an independent shop, and repairs come with our 90-day warranty.

About Asko
Asko was founded in 1950 in Jung, in Vara Municipality, Sweden, by Karl-Erik Andersson, and was first called Junga Verkstäder. Gorenje of Slovenia bought it in 2010, and China’s Hisense took a 95% majority of Gorenje in 2018. Asko makes more appliances elsewhere, but in North America it imports only dishwashers and laundry.

Find your model and serial number
Asko’s Canadian registration page gives three spots. On a dishwasher the label sits on the right side of the inner door panel or tank. On a dryer it is behind the door in the upper left corner. On a washer it is above the glass door on the inner panel. It asks for the serial number beside the barcode and the six digit article number.

How service works
We can look at your Asko appliance in your home, or in our shop for smaller items. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
