Hisense TVs show up in a lot of Calgary homes, from budget screens to big Mini LED sets. When one stops working, Southland can repair it in your home or at our shop, and look at Hisense soundbars too.

About Hisense
Hisense began in Qingdao, China, in 1969 as Qingdao No. 2 Radio Factory and it is still headquartered there. Hisense makes TVs, soundbars and home appliances. In 2017 it agreed to buy 95% of Toshiba’s TV business unit.

Find your model and serial number
Hisense Canada says the model and serial information is on a label on the back of the TV, which it calls the serial tag. A Hisense user manual gives the menu route to the serial number as Settings, System, Advanced System, Help, then System message. Menus vary by model, so use the label if that path is missing.

How service works
Large Hisense TVs can be repaired in your home, and smaller items can be brought to our shop. Southland repairs TVs. We do not sell TVs. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
