About Sharp
Tokuji Hayakawa founded Sharp in Tokyo in 1912, and Hon Hai (Foxconn) became its majority owner in 2016. In 2015 Sharp sold its Mexico TV factory and the right to put its name on TVs in the Americas to Hisense, and in 2019 it took the brand back for TVs in the U.S. Sharp Electronics of Canada Limited runs sharp.ca, which lists an AQUOS 4K Roku TV marked as discontinued.

Sharp Canada’s download finder works by category, then product, so you need the exact model first. Model numbers on its Roku TV listing look like 4T-C75EL8UR. Read the number off the label on the set itself, and note it down before the TV goes on a wall mount.

How service works
Large Sharp TVs can be repaired in your home, and smaller items can be brought to our shop. Southland repairs TVs. We do not sell TVs. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
