Most people think of Haier for fridges and washers, yet it has made televisions too. If a Haier TV in your home has stopped working, Southland repairs it in Calgary, at your home or in our shop.

About Haier
Haier began in 1984 as Qingdao Refrigerator Co. in Qingdao, China, and took the Haier name in 1992. Haier Electronics Group, a separate affiliate from the appliance company Haier Smart Home, makes consumer electronics that include televisions. We have not verified which Haier TV models are currently sold in Canada, so this page is written for Haier sets you already own.

Find your model and serial number
Haier’s help page puts the labels on the side of the original box and on the back cover of the TV, usually under the rating label. Some models carry the label on the top or bottom edge. Serial numbers are often 20 characters, where a letter I is a one and an O is a zero.

How service works
Large Haier TVs can be repaired in your home, and smaller items can be brought to our shop. Southland repairs TVs. We do not sell TVs. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
