A Toshiba TV bought last year and one bought years ago can come from very different companies. Southland repairs both kinds of Toshiba television in Calgary, at your home for big screens or at our shop.

About Toshiba
Toshiba was formed in 1939 when Shibaura Seisakusho and Tokyo Denki merged, and today it focuses on infrastructure, electronic components and IT systems rather than TVs. Its TV division was sold to Hisense, which received a 40 year licence to use the Toshiba brand on TVs. Toshiba’s own support page splits TV help by age, with 2015 to 2021 sets handled by TVS REGZA and 2021 and later sets directed to toshibatv-usa.com.

Find your model and serial number
Toshiba says the TV model label on the back shows when the set was made, and that date decides which support route applies. A remote that lists the phone number 855.527.2411 points to a 2015 or newer set. Photograph the label before wall mounting.

How service works
Large Toshiba TVs can be repaired in your home, and smaller items can be brought to our shop. Southland repairs TVs. We do not sell TVs. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
