Sanyo is mostly a legacy name now, yet Sanyo televisions are still in use in Calgary. Southland repairs them, from basic LED sets to Roku models.

About Sanyo
Toshio Iue founded Sanyo in Osaka in 1947, and it became part of Panasonic between 2009 and 2011. In October 2014 Panasonic said it would transfer the Sanyo TV unit in the U.S. market to Funai. In April 2018 Funai Corporation announced itself as the exclusive licensee for Sanyo consumer TVs in North America, and Roku TV sets under the Sanyo name were expected in Canada.

Find your model and serial number
Sanyo has no support page we could verify for Canada, so use the label on the back of the set and write down the model number. Funai Corporation held the North American licence for Sanyo TVs in 2018, which is useful if you ever need to contact the licensee.

How service works
Large Sanyo TVs can be repaired in your home, and smaller items can be brought to our shop. Southland repairs TVs. We do not sell TVs. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
