About Panasonic
Panasonic dates to 1918, when Konosuke Matsushita started a small electric housewares business in Osaka. Since April 2022 the parent company has been Panasonic Holdings Corporation, based in Osaka, Japan. In September 2026, a new Panasonic TV lineup was announced for Canada, with Skyworth distributing the sets. The announced lineup includes 55 and 65 inch OLED and QD Mini LED models running Google TV.

Find your model and serial number
Panasonic lists four places: the carton label, a side label on certain models, the back label of the TV, and the underside of the frame on 2017 models. Model numbers on older sets begin with TC, TH or TV. Panasonic’s page gives no menu path, so read the label before the TV is mounted.

How service works
Large Panasonic TVs can be repaired in your home, and smaller items can be brought to our shop. Southland repairs TVs. We do not sell TVs. In-shop diagnostic: $50 plus GST, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. In-home service call: $95 plus GST ($95 plus mileage plus GST outside Calgary), with parts and labour on top. You get a repair quote before any work. Repairs carry a 90-day warranty.
