About Millarville
Millarville is a Foothills County hamlet at about 1,185 metres elevation, northwest of the point where Highway 22 meets Highway 549, roughly 35 kilometres southwest of Calgary’s limits. Its post office opened in April 1892. The Millarville Market and Fair, founded in 1907, runs on land northeast of the hamlet. The Leighton Art Centre and a community school for kindergarten to grade 8 add character to a small footprint, set among open rural land.
