Appliance repair and TV and electronics repair in Marda Loop
Marda Loop is a shopping district, so we cover the streets around it, from Altadore and South Calgary to the former military housing of Garrison Woods.
About Marda Loop
The name blends the Marda Theatre, opened in 1953 by Mark and Mada Jenkins, with the streetcar turnaround that dates to 1909. The business area was named by contest in 1985. It centres on 33 and 34 Avenues SW between Crowchild Trail and 18 Street SW, overlapping South Calgary, Altadore and Garrison Woods, which replaced military housing from 2004. The Marda Gras street festival, Calgary’s oldest street fair, runs on the second Sunday in August.
